Cable Design
Contact Cables design service (CCDS) was created to help our customers have cables designed and manufactured to their exact industry/application requirements.
The CCDS team work closely with our customers to design a bespoke taylor-made cable solution ensuring all electrical, environmental, Approval standards and application requirements are achieved.
Once we have a working design a small sample run of cable is produced,this can be as low as 1000 Mtrs and takes around 5-6 Weeks . This gives our customer the chance to ensure the cable performs as expected and to make any minor modifications to the design before a full production run is manufactured.
The CCDS team has already successfully designed cables for ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) systems used by UK police forces as well as Military CCTV systems, cables for a high end Home entertainment systems, Hydrocarbon resistant cables for Petrol Forecourts and UL/cUL cables with customer specific jacket materials and colours.
